We’re kind of bummed they didn’t check Brazilian Jiu Jitsu athletes, but are confident we too would dominate the lesser sports! 😉
The truth is that you must do regular exercise to build both muscle and bone density PLUS get all the other massive benefits of exercise.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu offers so many of the benefits of a contact sport without the head trauma that you might get in MMA (UFC style fighting), football, muay thai, or kickboxing.
The study did find that “ALL athletes have above average mineral density ” even swimmers. 😆
